Good morning, Coffee is Hot!!! Sit On Down!!!!!
I attended my Alumni Picnic Yesterday... Congratulations to Coretta Scott and Anissa Bolden and all the Cody Alumni who put on yesterday's Alumni Picnic. It was FANTASTIC! Very nice to see some faces from high school.
As I take look at the economy and the World around us. We all look at it; can’t help it; it’s everywhere! Some look at it from a good view and others from a not-so-good view. A lot of unemployed workers are faced with the dilemma of which way to go; what will be the next step. A lot of employed workers are faced with the same dilemma.
I SUBMIT to you if you want to CHANGE Directions DO IT!!! Don't be afraid . Although CHANGE can be uncomfortable, CHANGE CAN BE WONDERFUL....
Let HalliburtonSupportsU Know How We Can Help!!!

Positive Deviance Model
According to Richard Tanner Pascale and Jerry Sternin, there are always positive exceptions to rules concerning business problems. Somehow, a few isolated groups or individuals, operating with the same constraints and resources as everyone else, are functioning better.
In this Model, managers must actively look for those extraordinarily successful groups and individuals, and bring the isolated success strategies of these "positive deviants" into the mainstream. One strength of the Positive Deviance approach is that it facilitates a role reversal in which experts become learners, teachers become students, and leaders become followers.

Twitter Gaining Importance In The Workplace
People who’ve sworn off Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace may be appealing in certain regards, after all – employers will have to worry less about them playing with their friends all day – but folks who know how to use social media bring certain networking and broadcasting abilities to the table.

Common HR Mistake - Improper job descriptions
One common HR mistake is utilizing proper job descriptions. Le me be clear, job descriptions are not required however, they are very necessary. Job descriptions set guidelines to assist managers with focusing on skills, background and knowledge necessary for an employee to perform the job.
Job descriptions are essential in the recruiting and interviewing process as they describe practical terms, key responsibilities of the actual position, reporting relationships and work environment.
Job descriptions guide both the employee and the employer.
What are some other common HR mistakes you have faced?
